METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FLEXIBLE PRINTED CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost method for manufacturing a flexible printed circuit which can continuously manufacture even a long and large flexible printed circuit. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a flexible printed circuit comprises the steps of superposing a copper foil 4 and a base film 2, and disposing a roll 5 with a cutter at the foil 4 side and a work roll 6 at the film 2 side so as to sandwich the foil 4 and the film 2. The roll 5 has a rotary cutter 5a made of a protruding strip or the like matching the conductor pattern to be formed. The roll 6 works with the roll 5. The roll 5 and the roll 6 continuously press the foil 4 and the film 2 to adhere the foil 4 to the film 2 while cutting only the conductor pattern part 4a of the foil 4.
