The production of a partially coated body (1) having a coating (3) made from sinterable material comprises partially contacting a supporting body (2) with a suspension (4) made from a sinterable material; rotating the supporting body at 80-1500, preferably 100-1000 U/minutes; removing the supporting body from the suspension; drying the partially coated supporting body; and sintering. An Independent claim is also included for the partially coated body produced. Preferred Features: The body rotatably removed from the suspension. The suspension further contains a solvent, binder, stabilizer and/or dispersant. The supporting body to be coated is partially provided with a protective covering.
