PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording head and an ink-jet recorder which relatively easily and surely prevent piezoelectric elements from breaking. SOLUTION: The ink-jet recording head is provided with a channel formation substrate 10 where pressure generation chambers 12 are defined to communicate with nozzle operation, and piezoelectric elements 300 set via diaphragms to regions corresponding to the pressure generation chambers 12 of the channel formation substrate 10. The ink-jet recording bead has a sealing member 30 for defining a piezoelectric element holder 33, and at least one sealing part 131 set to a different member from the sealing member 30. The piezoelectric element holder 33 joined to the side of the piezoelectric elements 300 of the channel formation substrate 10 secures a space having a size such that the motion of the piezoelectric elements 300 is not obstructed. The sealing part 131 is a space which communicates with the piezoelectric element holder 33 and is shut from the outside air. The volume of the piezoelectric element holder 33 is substantially increased, so that a humidity rise of the piezoelectric elements 300 is prevented. |
