PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for spore bearing bacterium sterilization, by which the growth of partially harmful spore bearing bacterium is prevented under a mild condition by using a natural substance without pressurizing and heating a food and using a chemical sterilizer. SOLUTION: A germination inducing substance such as alanine, etc., is added to a food. After 30 minutes to 6 hours, a spore is germinated and then a bacteriocin-containing solution of lactic acid fermentation or its dried substance is added to the food.
