PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize deformation amounts on the upper and the lower side of fixed plates, uniformly apply a clamping force to the whole of a die joined surface at the time of clamping, and suppress a defective molding such as the generation of burrs at the time of molding. SOLUTION: The fixed plates 3A and 3B of this clamping device 1A for an injection-molding machine have a square shape when seen from the front surface, and tie bars 4 and 4 are fixed to the four corners. On the lower side surfaces of the fixed plates 3A and 3B, leg sections 13 and 13 are projected on both sides by placing a space V at the center in the widthwise direction of the fixed plates 3A and 3B. Respective leg sections 13 and 13 are fixed to a machine base 2 with bolts (fixing means) 15 and 15. In this case, the fixing locations are symmetrical from the center C2 in the widthwise direction of the fixed plates 3A and 3B, and also, are closer to the center C2 side than the axial centers C1 and C1 of the tie bars 4 and 4.
