HEAT-SENSITIVE RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording medium which has good ink receiving properties when heat transfer recording is performed and can perform recording without generating sticking and printing tailing when heat-sensitive recording is performed and does not generate blocking in the heat-sensitive recording medium provided with a heat-sensitive recording layer of at least one layer containing at least one electron-donating usually colorless or light- colored dye precursor and an electron-accepting color developer which reacts with the dye precursor by heating and develops color of the dye precursor on a substrate. SOLUTION: The heat-sensitive recording medium which has good ink receiving properties when heat transfer recording is performed and can perform recording without generating sticking and printing tailing when heat-sensitive recording is performed and has excellent blocking characteristics is provided by incorporating polyolefin resin particles and at least either one of acrylic resins, urethane resins and SBR latexes in an overcoat layer of the heat-sensitive recording medium.
