PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an element having a screw thread. SOLUTION: The element having screw thread is produced so that both partial flanks surround a negative angle together with a plane extended vertically to a screw axis. Further, a screw or hook for a connection to a rod is produced to be used especially for the surgical treatment of the spine. The inner screw thread of a holder to which the rod is connected, and a screw thread related to a nut include such a screw thread of this invention.
