PURPOSE: A wireless handsfree device and a method for controlling a transmitting and receiving sound using the same are provided to perform a call without using a specific connection line. CONSTITUTION: A receiving unit(10) senses a magnetic field generated in a speaker of a portable phone, converts the magnetic field into an electric signal, and converts the electric signal into an audible sound recognized by a user, and outputs the audible sound through a receiving speaker(SP1) of a handsfree. A transmitting unit(20) receives a voice of the user through a microphone, converts the received voice into an electric signal, outputs the electric signal through a transmitting speaker(SP3) of the handsfree installed near a microphone of the portable phone, and transmits the voice of the user to the microphone of the portable phone.
