TESTING METHOD FOR SUBSTANCE HAVING LATENT ACTIVITY IN LIPOLYSIS FIELD AND APPLICATION THEREOF MAINLY TO COSMETIC USAGE

PURPOSE: Provided are a testing method for substance having latent activity in lipolysis field and its application mainly to cosmetic usage. CONSTITUTION: A testing method for a substance having a latent activity in a filed of lipolysis comprises the steps of: preparing a substance containing at least one triacyl glycerol; bringing the substance into contact with a substance having a latent activity in a field of lipolysis and a lipoprotein lipase in the presence of a cofactor for the lipoprotein lipase for a sufficient time for dissociating at least a part of the fatty acid of the triacyl glycerol; and evaluating the result of inhibition by determining an inhibiting activity against the dissociation of a fatty acid formed by an activity of the lipoprotein lipase based on the activity of the substance having latent activity, and comparing the above result with a result obtained in the absence of the test substance having a latent activity or comparing the above result with a result obtained in the presence of a known inhibitor acting as a reference.
