PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meat product useful for prophylaxis and therapy of food allergy and atopic dermatitis, and to provide a method for producing the meat product. SOLUTION: This meat product has the following properties: (a) causing no or low antigen-antibody reaction when subjecting the product to antigen- antibody reaction with blood serum of a patient who recognizes as allergen one kind or at least two kinds of products selected from hen egg, milk, soybean rice and wheat and (b) containing fatty acid of γ-linolenic acid and/or arachidonate cascade. The meat product has such characteristics of having extremely low allergenition, containing fatty acid in a good balance, being useful for prophylaxis and remedy of e.g. food allergy and also excellent in palatability. |
