t is disclosed herein a simple-in-operation mechanism (fig. 1,2) adaptable to the cylinder head of an internal combustion engine to change, upon control, all the parameters of the reciprocation motion of the input or output valves, in dependence onthe charge, the gas pedal position, and the engine strokes. At the cylinder head, a camshaft with axially variable eccentricity (1) sets in reciprocation motion the rocker arms of variable position (20a, 20b), which, in turn, urge an accessory to set in motion the push rods (4) and the valves (42), via the hydraulic push rods (41a, too. 41b). The electromotor rotates, upon control and in relation to the user's requirements and the operative conditions of the motor, a worm (30) conducting the aforementioned rocker arms (20a, 20b) to a new contact position with the camshaft (10), what entails the change of the reciprocation motion parameters of the rocker arms and, consequently, the change of the respective parameters of the valves (42)too.Therefore, we can be in position to completely control the motor's operation and obtain, for the whole spectrum of the motor's revolutions, the optimal combustion conditions. This leads to the combustible reduction, the torque increase, and the improvement of the motor's performance (see fig. 1,2). |
