PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-row automatic packaging machine wherein the generation of an abnormality on either one of a plurality of straps of packaging films, which are slit, is detected in the middle of feeding, and trouble can be prevented from occurring, and even if trouble is generated, a remedy after the generation can be quickly taken. SOLUTION: A detecting means which detects the feeding state of each packaging film which is slit by a slitting means is provided for each packaging film.
