PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent bite and a tear of an O-ring 7 by centering an inside diameter of a gear cover 1 assembled first, with the use of a reference axis for a gear drive 3 assembled next. SOLUTION: For centering an inside diameter of a first bearing support portion of the gear cover 1 assembled first, with the use of a reference axis (a taper portion 36 of a driveshaft 4) for the gear drive 3 assembled next, positioning of the reference axis for the gear cover 1 and the gear drive 3 by one positioning jig 10 can prevent decentering of the first bearing support portion of the gear cover 1 and a second bearing support portion of the gear drive 3 to prevent bite and a tear of the O-ring 7, when the gear drive 3 with a bearing 9 fixedly pressed on an outer circumference of the second bearing support portion is assembled and fixedly tightened on the taper portion 36 of the driveshaft 4.
