PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a printing cylinder, a gear or the like of a printer from being damaged by an abnormal vibration such as an earthquake or the like, and to eliminate the possibility of a leak due to the damage of an electric system. SOLUTION: An abnormal vibration monitoring apparatus comprises a seismic sensor 70 in a main switchboard 80 attached to the printer 20. When the sensor 70 detects an abnormal vibration (a fluctuation of an acceleration of 100 gal or more) of the printer, cylinder attaching/detaching units 21-1 to 21-4 of the printer 20 are operated so that all the printing cylinders are set to cylinder drawn states, a prime motor 22 of the printer 20 is stopped, a breaker 50 is turned OFF to cut off a power source to the printer 20. |
