PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rollers used for an image forming device and a method for forming the rollers and a print medium sending assembly which can manufactured at low manufacturing cots by making the most of the advantages of a conventional solid roller without lowering manufacturing efficiency and printing quality. SOLUTION: These rollers are rollers 30 and 130 which are provided with hollow cores 40 and 140 which are made of first materials and have inside surfaces 43 and 143 and outside surfaces 44 and 144, and sleeves 50 and 150 which are made of second materials and surround part of the hollow cores 40 and 140 and contact a print medium 13. The sleeves 50 and 150 have inside sleeves 51 and 151 surrounding parts of the inside surfaces 43 and 143 of the hollow cores 40 and 140 and outside sleeves 52 and 152 surrounding parts of the outside surfaces 44 and 144 of the hollow cores 40 and 140.
