FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: proposed rail car for carrying long loads, mainly large-size rockets, is long-based vehicle provided with carrying frame 1 installed on running bogies and furnished with transformable end face walls, pillars, roof 5, side walls and transport stands 7 one of which is furnished with compensator. Roof consists of several parts. Frame is furnished with fastening members along side beams. Detachable members are installed on end face walls. Pillars provided with extensions are installed on frame symmetrically relative to longitudinal axis of car for displacement in cross direction. Side walls are provided arch support 15, and they consists of separate sheets of guard suspended from longitudinal beams 17 of roof and tightened to frame by tie-rods. Fastening members are made in form of shaped sections whose surfaces are supports of guard sheets and arch supports. Guard sheets are interlapped through gaskets.
