FIELD: medicine, surgery. SUBSTANCE: the method could be used in treating elephantiasis. One should conduct mechanical tubal lipoextraction and myoectomy along external, internal and anterior contour of limbs. In peculiar case, resection should be carried out with tubal scalpels of 3.5-0.6 cm diameter. The method enables to improve lymphovenous and lymphomuscular drainage, decrease traumaticity and shorten the terms of therapy course. EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
