PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying apparatus having an automatically cleaning function, which has a long intervals between foreign objects sticking to an optical sensor unit, and a feeder cable, etc., used for the apparatus. SOLUTION: The carrying apparatus is provided with a light-receiving unit 1 and a light-emitting unit 2, respectively having a cleaning means utilizing fluid power, the feeder cable 3 for transmitting electric power and motive power generated by the fluid, a fluid supply means G, a fluid control means 8, a display I and a control means 7 for controlling these apparatuses. Contamination, such as dust and foreign objects, etc., sticking to the light-receiving part of the light- receiving unit 1 and the light-emitting part of the light-emitting unit 2 is detected by their own mechanisms, based on the light-receiving quantity of the light- receiving unit 1. When the contamination exceeds a fixed level, cleaning is automatically implemented, and where the function cannot be recovered by the cleaning, an error is displayed. The feeder cable 3 has an inner conductor 32 and an inner conduit 31 inside a covering pipe 33. |
