PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method for conserving an electrolyte which can prolong life of the electrolyte by maintaining ion concentration and ion composition in the electrolyte constant. SOLUTION: This invention is related to a method for conserving and caring the electrolyte by adjusting ion concentration and ion composition of the electrolyte by an ion exchanger. Profitably the ion exchanger contains counter ions which are contained in the electrolyte and affect bath quality. In an exchanging process, these counter ions are exchanged for ions which come from the electrolyte and exert adverse effect on the bath quality. Thereby composition and ion concentration of that time of the electrolyte are favorably adjusted. Thereby pH and density of the electrolyte, for example, can be kept almost constant and consequently usable time period of the electrolyte is remarkably prolonged. When definite composition is guaranteed, usable time period no longer has a limit. Thereby the method of this invention has remarkably high cost effectiveness. |
