PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized transmitting amplifier unit having a light weight and good heat radiating efficiency. SOLUTION: The transmitting amplifier unit for radio communication equipments includes an upper plate having a first notch; a bottom plate having a second notch aligned with the first notch; a C-shaped frame having a side plate for coupling the upper plate to the bottom plate; a main amplifier unit fastened to the bottom plate and having a centralized heat generating portion; and a subamplifier unit fastened to the upper plate. Further, the transmitting amplifier unit includes a heat radiating fin unit and a cooling fan fastened to the C-shaped frame. The heat radiating fin unit mounted on the centralized heat generating portion of the main amplifier unit is extended upward through the second notch of the bottom plate and through the first notch of the upper plate, and its upper end is fastened to the subamplifier unit. To the side surface opposed to the side plate of the C-shaped frame, a printed wiring board is so attached as to form a duct out of the C-shaped frame and the printed wiring board.
