PARTIAL DISCHARGE DETECTING METHOD FOR ELECTRIC APPLIANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect partial discharge in an electric appliance such as a distributor in the current-carrying state by simple signal processing of a measurement signal of a sensor. SOLUTION: A signal of partial discharge of an electric appliance (switch 1) such as a distributor in the current-carrying state is measured by a sensor (magnetic-field probe 12), and data on a signal level in a predetermined frequency range where the signal of partial discharge among measured signals are distributed is obtained by frequency analysis of the measured signal of the sensor, an average value of data of the set range in the order of the level of this data is acquired, and detection is made based on this average value by determining presence of partial discharge.
