METHOD TO CONVERT A POINT LIGHT SOURCE TO A LINE LIGHT SOURCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the energy loss and enhance the irradiation efficiency of a light source in converting a point light source into a line light source. SOLUTION: The method is constituted to convert the point light source to the line light source by using reflection and transmission of light by means of grooves made in a light pipe.
