PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin in which both the following shortcomings of an polyester resin and an acrylic resin are solved: the polyester resin has merits of excellent hardness and processability, but it has shortcomings that it is easily hydrolyzed and accordingly poor in water resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance and retort resistance; and on the other hand, the acrylic resin is hardly hydrolyzed, but it has a shortcoming that it is poor in processability. SOLUTION: An acryl-modified polyester resin (C) obtained by copolymerizing an ethylenic unsaturated bond-having polyester resin (A) with an ethylenic unsaturated bond-having monomer (B) which contains N-alkoxymethyl(meth) acrylamide (b1) as an essential monomer, but contains no monomer (b2) having both a hydroxyl group and an ethylenic unsaturated bond. |
