ANTENNA UNIT AND COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna, capable of being reduced in size and being sufficiently decreased in a signal loss. SOLUTION: The antenna unit comprises a substantially rectangular plate-like radiator 2, and supports 4 and 6 mounted at adjacent lower surface side edges of a pair of short sides parallel to each other of the radiator 2. The support 4 is made of a laminated circuit member having laminated branching filters and laminated band-pass filters of a reception side and a transmission side respectively connected to the branding filters. The radiator 2 has a power supply terminal 2c and a ground termina 2d at the mounting edge of the support 4. The terminal 2c and the terminal 2d are respectively connected to the antennal terminal 4a and the ground terminal 4b of the laminated circuit. The radiator 2 has a radiating electrode 2a formed with a slot 2b. The shape of the slot 2b is set so that the electrode 2a is resonated in a plurality of frequency bands.
