PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a call receiver capable of recognizing the arrival of an incoming call to a portable telephone without fail even if the portable telephone set is being used in a manner mode, and a portable telephone set provided with the call receiver. SOLUTION: When a call arrives at the portable telephone 20 while a vibrator unit 1 of the call receiver is worn on the arm of a portable telephone holder via a wearing band 10, the portable telephone 20 transmits a weak electric wave to a call receiver. When the ring receiver receives the signal, the vibrator unit 1 vibrates to directly transmit vibrations to the arm of the portable telephone holder. With this, the portable telephone holder is notified of a call arrival at the portable telephone without fail.
