摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the convenience of installation to a mating machine, and also secure particularly the strength of components around a worm shaft while an increase in casing size and machine weight is avoided. SOLUTION: A worm reduction gear G2 is provided with a first-step reduction section 40 for reducing the rotation of an input shaft 34 by means of a parallel gear mechanism, and a second-step reduction section 42 that receives an output from the first-step reduction section 40 being as the rotation of a worm shaft 48, further reduces it by means of a worm gear system and outputs this reduced rotation from an output shaft 54 perpendicular to the input shaft 34. The worm shaft 48 is supported by a pair of bearings 81 and 82. Mounting holes 88 to 91 for installation to a mating machine are provided at outer circumference sides of the bearings 81 and 82 supporting the worm shaft 48, when seen from the shaft center O2 of the output shaft 54 of the worm gear system, so that they are in parallel with the output shaft 54 and penetrate a casing 60.
