PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the fitting state of a breaker to an external fitting plate. SOLUTION: This circuit breaker has a device body 1 in which terminal screws 2 arranged in parallel along the width direction at both ends in the longitudinal direction, and a handle 3 projecting in the central part where its height from the bottom face is higher than at both ends in the longitudinal direction. To the device body 1, the central part of an external fitting plate 200 is inserted from the rear side of a fitting hole 200a in the external fitting plate 200, penetrating to the front side. An isolation part 13 for isolating two terminal screws 2 with a screwing part 12 having a screw hole 21a for screwing, while abutting the tip face of each screwing part 12 in the standing direction on the rear side of the external fitting plate 200 is installed. The isolation parts 13 are set lower and more outside in the longitudinal direction than the screwing parts 12. Each partition part 14 for partitioning terminal screws 2 from the outside in the width direction is installed with a lower height than that of the isolating part 13. The casing body 1 comprising abutting parts 15 of which the tip faces abut on the external fitting plate 200 with the isolating part 13 are raised outside the isolating parts 13 in the width direction.
