PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent magnetic anhysterisis in the magnetic core of a transformer in a half-bridge converter circuit. SOLUTION: The converter circuit is provided with a first switching element FET 1, a second switching element FET 2 which are alternately on/off-driven with a cycle period T, and the transformer 3. When T/2 + a preset timeΔt for infinitesimal increment has passed after the end of output signals (d) and (d) of a control circuit U1, which are on-drive signals for either FET 1 or FET 2, an on-drive signal is sent out to the other switching element. The value of the preset timeΔt for infinitesimal increment is determined, under conditions of the saturation value of the magnetic flux density of the magnetic core of the transformer 3.
