PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter that enables to connect a power supply plug of DC electric apparatus into the existing receptacle and prevents a reversed polarity voltage from being applied. SOLUTION: The housing 11 of a conversion adapter 10 is equipped with a pair of plug terminals 12 that are connected to the DC power supply line of a receptacle 30 and a pair of receiving terminals 15A, 15B. The plug terminals 12 can be connected to the existing receptacle 30 and can be inserted in reversal. An L shape slit 13 is formed in the housing 11 and a plug terminal 23 having a cross section of L-shape can be inserted in only prescribed direction. A rectification circuit 14 of bridge type is housed in the housing 11 and its input side is connected to a pair of plug terminals 12 and the output side is connected to a pair of receiving terminals 15A, 15B. |
