PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic book capable of supporting a browsing person of his information search by making the meaning of information easy to understand. SOLUTION: An electronic book 100 reads a suite of search information set from a search scenario 200 through a reading mechanism 101 for search scenario to transfer it to an extracting mechanism 102 for search conditions. The mechanism 102 transfers a URL of search engine and search conditions included in the received set to a transmitting mechanism 103 for search request. The mechanism 103 transmits the URL and conditions to the specified search engine 1 based on the URL and conditions of the received search engine. The engine 1 performs the information search according to each specification to return the search result.
