INSPECTING METHOD FOR LEAD STORAGE BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inspecting a lead storage battery, capable of accurately evaluating welding independent of condition or temperature of a welded part at measurement. SOLUTION: The distance between outside ends of welded parts of straps 6 and 6 and tabs 6a and 6a is measured before and after welding. The welding is judged to be defective if the distance shortens significantly.
