PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the maintenance of a transfer nip formed of an image forming/transfer member and a pressure member in a image forming system, and also, to reduce cost. SOLUTION: In the pressure member 12 having a sleeve which is suitable for use in the image forming device 10, the pressure member 12 includes a core 26 and the sleeve 28 which is removably and interchangeably arranged on the periphery of the core 26. Since the inner perimeter 32 of the sleeve 28 is larger than the outer perimeter 30 of the core 26 (about 2%), the sleeve is easily removed and replaced when the sleeve 28 is worn. It is not necessary to replace the rather heavy whole pressure member, but necessary to replace only the sleeve 28. Besides, a flange is formed at one end of the core 26 so as to prevent the sleeve 28 from dropping off the core 26.
