摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a prior art equalizer is normally implemented in hardware and a large number of operating units are required and thereby it is significantly intricate to cause a delay of processing. SOLUTION: In a receiver, an adaptive decision feedback equalizer 200 receives a broadcast signal having multipath interference. The equalizer comprises a feedforward filter 210, a feedback filter 220, and a partial feedback filter 260. The equalizer further comprises a slicer 250 and two accumulators 230 and 240. Output of the slicer is subtracted from the output of the feedforward filter to form an input to the slicer and output of the partial feedback filter is subtracted from a receiving signal to form an input to the feedforward filter thus reducing multipath interference. Complexity of updating the coefficients is thereby reduced.
