<p>A presser assembly and a plunger assembly (10) for supporting blanking scrap during a blanking operation are provided. The presser assembly includes a support rail (12); a presser rail (14) connected to the support rail; and at least one connecting rail (16, 18) connecting the presser rail to the support rail. The connecting rail is adapted to pivot with respect to at least one of the support rail and the presser rail through a predetermined pivot angle range for changing a distance between the support rail and the presser rail.</p> |
