<p>A safety system (200) for a flexible fluid conduit (212) comprising a fluid conduit (212) having a first valve seat (232a) disposed at a first end (210a) and a second valve seat (232b) disposed at a second end (210b). A first valve body (218a) is pivotally attached to a first housing (216a) at the first end (210a) and a second valve body (218b) is pivotally attached to a second housing (216b) at the second end (210b). A valve controller (214) retains the first (218a) and second (218b) pivotal valve bodies in an open position and closes the pivotal valve bodies (218a, 218b) upon conduit (212) failure.</p> |
