The seat cover (3), made of a suitable flexible material, is provided at least along one edge with a profile (7) with a cross section in the shape of a barbed arrow (8, 9, 10). The base (1) of the seat (5), made as a shell of a rigid synthetic material is provided with at least one groove (11) along one of its sides for the insertion of the profile (7). Several locking elements (12) designed as small sheets with one saw toothed edge (13) are positioned vertically at a distance from each other inside the groove (11). When the profile (7) is inserted the barbs (10) of the arrow-shaped lower side (8) engage with the saw teeth (13).
