<p>A multilayer film comprising: a stack of recurring units wherein each recuring unit has at least one extruded microlayer of a first thermoplastic material and further wherein the first thermoplastic material forms a barrier against oxygen wherein the film has a total thickness of between 10 and 2500 mum. If more than one microlayer is contained within each unit, then the microlayers may be coextruded together. Specifically, the barrier microlayer may be selected from among EVOH, polyketones, PA6, MXD6, PVDC, LCP, polyvinyl alcohol ("PVOH") or any other like barrier material against oxygen.</p> |
