PURPOSE: A semi-automatic warehouse is provided to perform the direct article transfer by a worker, to process the storage plan and the management of the data about articles by a computer, and to make the worker and computer exchange the information when various articles in a small amount are stored. CONSTITUTION: A hangar rack group(20) includes hangar racks of plural sections. IDs(Identifications) are applied to each hangar rack. A host computer(50) is stored with the data about the articles put into a warehouse(10) and delivered from the warehouse. The host computer is operated by a specific program, and includes a host side wireless communication program for wirelessly transmitting and receiving data. An article carrier(30) has a rack(31) loaded with the articles attached with bar codes, a bar code scanner(45) for scanning the bar codes, and a local computer(40) connected with the bar code scanner and includes a local wireless communication unit(43) for wirelessly transmitting and receiving data with the host computer. The article carrier is operated by the worker.
