PURPOSE: A method for transmitting an e-mail message by using a telephone number is provided to transmit an e-mail message to an e-mail address sought based on the telephone number of a receiver. CONSTITUTION: A user requests the transmission of a web page for writing an e-mail message by connecting to the web server(S31). The user writes an e-mail on the web page, fills in the telephone number of the receiver instead of an e-mail address of the receiver, and inputs the e-mail to the web server(S32). The web server requests a server computer to search the e-mail address of the owner of the telephone number(S33). The server computer searches the e-mail address from many web servers, fetches the e-mail address from a member database, and transmits the correct e-mail address to the web server(S34). The e-mail address is inputted via an input button. The web server transmits the e-mail message to the inputted e-mail address(S35).
