<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor in which when the operation can not be continued due to any failure, self-restoration is executed against transient failure, and certain power source interruption processing by hardware is executed against significant failure. SOLUTION: This information processor is provided with a main system 2 to which power is supplied from main power source, a sub-system 3 to be operated with an auxiliary power source, first and second watchdog timers (30a and 30b) whose time constants are different, a reset generating means for resetting the sub-system when the first watchdog timer expires, a main power source control means for stopping the power source when the second watchdog timer expires, and the software routine of the sub-system for clearing the first and second watchdog timers.</p> |
