PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a protruding part small at the joint between a precast concrete column 10 and a steel beam 20, thereby enhancing mounting accuracy and reducing transportation capacity, while simplifying the shape of an embedded steel member and reducing the costs of fabricating the column and of joining the column to the beam. SOLUTION: The precast concrete column 10 has a steel column 11 integrally mounted thereto. The steel column 11 has diaphragms 12 at each end which are joined to the flanges 21 of the steel beam 20, and gusset plates 13 for joining to the web 22 of the steel beam 20 are provided to protrude from a side face of the steel column. The web 22 of the steal beam 20 is joined to the gusset plates 13 by use of high-strength bolts 23 and the upper and lower flanges 21 of the steel beam 20 are welded to the diaphragms 12.
