PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing coke for metallurgy which can produce the coke coping with the operation of blowing a large amount of finely pulverized coal with the use of the conventional coal blend. SOLUTION: Pseudo-particles obtained by attaching a reinforcing agent of at least one type of coal around a pore-forming agent of at least one type of coal as the nucleus are added to a coal blend. As the property of the pore- forming agent, respective coals have a Gieseler fluidity (MF) of <=50 ddpm, and as the property of the reinforcing agent, respective coals have a Gieseler fluidity (MF) of <=100 ddpm and, simultaneously, the average maximum reflectance (Ro) of the respective coals is greater than that (Ro) of the coal blend.
