PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output the special color of a desired color by eliminating the influence of the color correction of a plurality of colors on the special color. SOLUTION: This method is provided with processing for applying color separation to color plate data equivalent to the special color by a plurality of other colors to obtain the color-separated data of the special color, processing for applying color correction to the plurality of colors to obtain color corrected data and processing for combining the color-separated and the color corrected data of the special color.
