PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile object communication terminal for which an SIM card and an IC card can be safely and easily exchanged while the power of the terminal is kept on and communication function use and nonuse can be automatically switched at the time of attaching and detaching the SIM card. SOLUTION: A card insertion sensor is provided, the power is supplied to the card by detecting the insertion of the IC card and the power to the card is disconnected by detecting the pull-out start of the IC card. Also, a card kind identification means is provided, a connection processing to a network is performed in the case of identifying that the IC card is the SIM card and a disconnection processing from the network is automatically performed in the case of detaching the SIM card. Also, the function of limiting the manual detachment of a storage medium is provided and an operation is performed so as to enable the detachment of the IC card after the disconnection of the power to the card or the disconnection from the network is ended. |
