PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump, high in an operating coefficient (COP), and a dehumidifying air conditioner, high in dehumidifying capacity per energy consumption. SOLUTION: The dehumidifying air conditioner is provided with a first heat- exchanging unit 21 for evaporating refrigerant at an intermediate pressure between the condensing pressure of a condenser 5 and the evaporating pressure of an evaporator 1 to cool treatment air; a second heat exchanging unit 22, condensing the refrigerant at an intermediate pressure between the condensing pressure of the condenser 5 and the evaporating pressure of the evaporator 1 to heat the treating air; and a treatment air route, connecting the first heat- exchanging unit 21, the evaporator 1 and the second heat-exchanging unit 22 sequentially, while a refrigerant route is penetrated through the second heat- exchanging unit 22 at the downstream of the condenser 5 and, thereafter, is penetrated through the first heat-exchanging unit 21 and the second heat- exchanging unit 22 alternately.
