An adhesive composition comprises polyvinyl acetate to which has been added a minor proportion, e.g. 0.1 to 1.5% by weight, of a polyalkylenimine such as polyethylenimine. The adhesive composition may be used to laminate a non-regenerated cellulosic substrate such as paper, paperboard, cardboard or pasteboard to a layer of a non-aromatic olefin polymer such as polyethylene or polypropylene. |
