PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide socks having no anxiety that the socks worn by a wearer is not seen from the outside when wearing shoes with open and low insteps, excellent in air permeability, and causing no stuffy feeling when worn. SOLUTION: This sock has the following structure: a heal part pocket is connectedly arranged to the semicircle of the knitted end of an upper ring part comprising the proper number of courses circularly knitted to be joined to a top opening edge circularly knitted, a center ring part comprising the proper number of courses is formed so as to be connected with the remaining semicircle including the knitted end of the heel part pocket and upper ring part, a toe part pocket linking with the semicircle of the knitted end of the center ring part so as to make its phase shift by 180 deg. based on the heel part pocket is formed at the opposite side of the heel part pocket of the knitted end course of the center ring part, and a sole opening edge with a bottom ring part comprising the several number of courses and a run-proof organization is arranged so as to be joined to the remaining semicircle including the knitted end of the toe part pocket and the center ring part.
