PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic motor for driving a rotor to rotate around a plurality of shafts, in which a rotor is supported to rotate around a plurality of shafts and increase of surface pressure of a supporting member and a pressurizing member is eliminated while a stator is pressurized. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic motor comprises the stator 4 which includes a contact 10b to generate vibration in a plurality of directions at its contact 10b; the rotor 5 which includes an almost spherical part 5a and an output shaft 5b to be in contact with the contact 10b at the spherical part 5a almost in the opposite side of the output shaft 5b, and rotates around a plurality of shafts based on the vibration in a plurality of directions generated by the stator 4; and a bearing 3 (supporting member and pressurizing member) which includes the spherical supporting surface 3a to be in contact in the annular shape with the spherical part 5a, to support the rotor 5 to be rotatable around a plurality of shafts and pressurize the spherical part 5a to the contact 10b. The position of the end in the output shaft side of the spherical supporting surface 3a is set to 12 degrees with the center portion X of the shaft in the pressurizing direction of the spherical part 5a defined as 0 degree. |
