Each side of the axle is a helicoidal spring (2,2') supported in the bottom on a lower cup (3,3') fixed to an absorber (1,1') mounted on a wheel (R). The springs are supported at the top on an upper cup (4,4') fixed to the vehicle chassis (H). The coils of the two axle springs are symmetrical relative to the axle median plane (XOZ).
