COMPRESSOR SEALING STRUCTURE AND COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: To provide a simple sealing structure for sufficiently sealing cooling medium gas in a housing of a compressor. CONSTITUTION: A joint between a cylinder block 1 and a rear housing 3 is provided with a ring groove 42 at the inside of the housing on a joint face 1b on the side of the cylinder block 1 and a gasket thrusting end face 43 at the outside thereof extending from the ring groove 42. A nitrile rubber O-ring 40 is stored in the ring groove 42 and furthermore a gasket 41 consisting of a nitrilic rubber plate 41a and a metal plate 41b is stored between the gasket thrusting end face 43 and the joint face 3b of the rear housing 3. The O-ring 40 mainly seals the joint and the gasket 41 subsidiarily seals a trace of low- pressure cooling medium gas permeating through the O-ring 40 for some reason or other.
